Limitations

  • V2P not supported
  • Password Vault not supported
  • RAC VDB ( limited support )
    • Needs manual selection of RAC nodes
    • Plugin does not verify if correct nodes are selected from same cluster.
    • Source RAC database threads are expected in order 1,2,..,n if creating RAC VDB’s
  • PITR ( limited support )
    • Archivelogs need to be made available on VDB host
    • Date/Time to be specified in textbox instead of any selection
    • Correct snapshot need to be selected which is just prior to PITR point using view metadata
  • Delphix Appliance inbuilt VDB Config Template are not supported. Plugin does provide facility to define VDB related custom init.ora parameters.
  • Supports only NFS3 for RAC VDBs
  • Privilege Elevation is supported only for sudo
  • SDD not supported.
